The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announced today that the temporary closure of the DPR-managed pool at the Marie Reed Learning Center has been extended until December 12, 2008. 

DPR is currently conducting repairs and maintenance at three indoor pools at DC Public School locations which DPR operates.  The updated scheduled reopening dates are:

• Marie Reed – December 15, 2008
• Dunbar – December 15, 2008
• Ferebee Hope – December 22, 2008
