DPR Set to Break Ground on Redevelopment of 14th and Girard Street Park

On Wednesday, December 10 at 12 noon, Mayor Adrian M. Fenty, Ward 1 Councilmember Jim Graham and DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) Director Clark E. Ray will join the Ward 1 community for a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the redevelopment of the 14th and Girard Street Park located in Northwest Washington.

The goal of the project is to completely redesign and rebuild the existing park in order to better meet the needs of the community. District residents are invited to attend the groundbreaking ceremony.
