The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) has announced that due to inclement weather, all DPR natural grass athletic fields will be closed today, Thursday, March 26, 2009, for the safety of DPR customers.  All DPR artificial turf fields remain open for use.

Poor field conditions have been created by the continuing rain, and use of natural grass athletic fields in these conditions can easily create long-term damage.
