The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) has announced that the Takoma Aquatic Center, 300 Van Buren Street, NW, will be closed for general swim beginning Friday, April 24 at 12 pm, and will resume regular hours of operation on Monday, April 27 at 6 am.

During the temporary closure, the Takoma Aquatic Center will host the Machine Aquatics Long Course Championships; spectator admission is free.
