The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) has announced that due to the recent heavy rains and forecast of poor weather, all DPR natural grass fields will be closed today, Tuesday, April 21, 2009, for the safety of DPR customers.  Poor field conditions have been created by the heavy rains and use of natural grass athletic fields in these conditions can create long-term damage.
