The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) has announced that they will temporarily close the DC Center for Therapeutic Recreation (TR Center), 3030 G Street, SE, on Thursday, April 30, 2009, due to mechanical difficulties caused by a recent lightning strike.

DPR is currently working with Pepco to make repairs, and will provide a reopening date and time for the TR Center when that information is available.
