The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) has announced that due to the recent heavy rains, all DPR natural grass fields will be closed today, Tuesday, May 5, 2009, for the safety of DPR customers. 

Poor field conditions have been created by the heavy rains and use of natural grass athletic fields in these conditions can create long-term damage. All DPR artificial turf athletic fields remain open for use.  For more information call DPR Athletic Programs, (202) 671-1700.
