The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) Banneker Community Center, located at 2500 Georgia Avenue, NW, will be closed on Saturday, June 27, 2009, due to the 2009 17th Annual Caribbean Carnival festival and parade.  All recreational facilities at Banneker will be closed for regular use as the facility is being used to host activities for the Caribbean Carnival festival.
