Limited Public Swim Hours At Takoma Aquatic Center This Weekend

The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) Takoma Aquatic Center, 300 Van Buren Street, NW, will have limited public swim hours this weekend, as it is the site of the Washington Wetskins' Water Polo Tournament.  The Washington Wetskins Water Polo Tournament will begin at 9 am on Saturday and Sunday and is open to the public for viewing; spectator admission is free. 

On Saturday, October 10, Takoma Aquatic Center will be closed for public swim; on Sunday, October 11, public swim will be offered from 2 - 5 pm; the center will be closed on Monday, October 12 in observance of the holiday. Takoma Aquatic Center will resume regular hours on Tuesday, October 13.

Other DPR indoor and outdoor pools will maintain their regular schedules throughout the weekend; locations and hours are available in the "Aquatics" section of DPR's website, DPR.DC.GOV, or by calling the Aquatics Division at (202) 671-1289.
