(Washington, DC) On Saturday, June 2, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will open four outdoor swimming pools (East Potomac Park, Langdon Park, Randall and Upshur), signaling the beginning of the outdoor summer swimming season. Weekend and holiday hours of operation for outdoor pools are 12 pm until 6 pm. DPR’s ongoing partnership with Amerigroup Community Care allows for free swimming for DC residents until September 30, 2007.
The following pools will open this weekend:
