(Washington, DC)  On Saturday, August 11, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation Supreme Teens will host “TeenFest 2007.” Festivities begin at 1 pm at Oxon Run Park, Wheeler Road, SE. Activities will include games, sports, a fun wagon and skate mobile, performing artists, educational activities and themed pavilions.  
Geared toward teens, the event is designed to provide youth with events and positive outlets for self-expression. Supreme Teens have been instrumental in every aspect of the program and will showcase their leadership skills, entrepreneurship potentials and performing arts talents throughout the entire festival. TeenFest is one of the many activities supported by the Ward 8 initiative and DC Councilmember Marion Barry.
