(Washington, DC) – The DC Department of Parks and Recreation announced today recreation facilities will be receiving new equipment.

“Overall assessments of our recreation centers resulted in the need for internal and external upgrades. Based on some of our findings, new ping-pong tables, bumper pool, air hockey, foosball, sporting gear, and other items are being delivered to recreation centers,” said Clark Ray, DPR Acting Director.

Parks and Recreation is in the process of delivering more than one thousand pieces of equipment to recreation facilities throughout the city. All centers needing new equipment will receive those items this month. Attached is the list of equipment and sites that received the first shipments.
