(Washington, DC) The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will host Halloween activities on October 31 at recreation centers throughout the District. DPR encourages parents to bring their children to neighborhood centers to celebrate Halloween. There will be activities for kids and teens to have fun in a safe, supervised environment. Activities include costume parades, face-painting, haunted houses, pumpkin-carving contests, treats and much more.
