The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) has temporarily closed the Chevy Chase Playground and Cooperative Play Center, at 4101 Livingston Road, NW, and the Congress Heights Recreation Center, at 100 Randle Place, SE, due to heating system difficulties.

Patrons and DPR staff of the Chevy Chase Playground are being directed to the Chevy Chase Community Center, 5600 Connecticut Avenue, NW, (202) 282-2204.

Patrons and DPR staff of the Congress Heights Recreation Center are being directed to Bald Eagle Recreation Center 100 Joliet Street, SW, (202) 645-3960.
