After a season of great play and exciting games, the Athletic Programs Administration of the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will host the DPR Youth Basketball League 2008 Championship Games on Saturday, April 5, 2008, at the Lamond Recreation Center, 20 Tuckerman Street, NE, (202) 576-9542.
The first championship game will tip off at 10:00am and the final game will tip off at 5:30pm. A complete game schedule is provided below. Additional details are available on DPR’s website, dpr.dc.gov.

Throughout the day there will be special performances and halftime events. The Malcolm X Drumline will perform before the games and during halftime of Game 2; the Harry Thomas Cheerleaders will perform during halftime of Game 3.
Halftime competitions include a Mother and Son Layup Battle, Father and Son Layup Battle, Councilmembers or Ward Managers Three Point Challenge, Slam Dunk Competition, and a Girls' Three Point Shoot Out. Select from the following link to learn more about the Championship Games:
