(Washington, DC) -- The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) has announced that on Saturday, May 24, 2008, outdoor swimming pools at DPR facilities across the District will open for the Memorial Day weekend. In addition, several outdoor spray parks will also open. 

Outdoor pools will be open Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 12 pm - 6 pm. Through the support of Amerigroup’s “DC Swims Free Program”, there will be no pool fees throughout 2008 for District residents.
