The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announced today that emergency mechanical repairs have been completed at the Takoma Aquatic Center, 300 Van Buren Street, NW, (202) 576-9284.  The aquatic center will reopen at 9 am on Saturday, May 31, 2008 and resume normal hours of operation, Mon – Fri: 6 am – 9 pm, Sat – Sun: 9 am – 5 pm.

With the reopening of Takoma Aquatic Center, the Turkey Thicket Aquatic Facility, 1100 Michigan Ave., NE, (202) 576-9236, will also resume normal hours of operation, Mon – Fri: 6:30 am – 8 pm, Sat: 9 am – 5 pm, closed on Sundays.
