DPR Opens Outdoor Pools and Spray Parks on Monday to Help Residents Beat the Heat

Due to a forecast of continuing extreme heat, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) has announced that it will open 10 outdoor swimming pools and 4 spray parks from 3 pm to 8 pm at DPR locations across the District on Monday, June 9, 2008.

Through the support of Amerigroup’s “DC Swims Free Program,” there are no pool fees in 2008 for District residents.
