On Saturday, June 21, 2008, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will conclude the season of the DPR Girls Softball League, Ages 11 to 15 Division, with a Championship Tournament at the Riggs La Salle Community Center, 501 Riggs Rd., NE. 

The championship will be a single elimination tournament with games beginning at 10 am and running throughout the day on two fields.  This season five teams and 90 players participated in the DPR league. 

DPR teams from the following sites will be participating in the tournament:

• Barry Farm Recreation Center
• Fort Davis Recreation Center 
• King Greenleaf Recreation Center
• Malcolm X Recreation Center
• Riggs La Salle Community Center

The competition is open to the public and admission is free.
