On Tuesday, July 15, 2008, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will begin accepting permit applications for use of DPR athletic fields during the fall 2008 permit season, September 1 to December 31, 2008.  To receive priority processing, field use permit applications for fall 2008 must be submitted to DPR between July 15 and July 31, 2008. 

Applicants will be notified of the status of their fall field use application beginning on August 15, 2008.   Upon notification of the granting of a permit, applicants will now have 10 business days to make full payment of all fees.  If payment is not received within 10 business days, any approved permits will be revoked and the field space will remain available for use.

DPR permit applications are available on DPR’s website, DPR.DC.GOV, in the "Permits and Reservations" section, or by contacting the DPR Permit office at (202) 673-7667.

Any permits for fall field use received after July 31, will be processed beginning August 18, under normal permitting procedures.
