The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will temporarily close gymnasiums at four DPR recreation centers across the District during August and September to accommodate scheduled resurfacing of the gymnasium floors. Resurfacing restores the finish and luster of the gymnasium surface, and assures long life and performance of the floor.
Only the gymnasium will be closed while the work is being performed, all other areas of the centers will remain open. The complete schedule of closing and reopen dates is provided below.
