On Labor Day, Monday, September 1, 2008, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will open a select number of facilities, with at least one DPR facility open in each ward. DPR will also open a number of outdoor pools throughout the holiday weekend. All other DPR facilities will be closed in observance of the holiday.
