Five DC Pop Warner Football Teams Compete in Eastern Region Playoff Action This Weekend

Playoff football continues for five DC Pop Warner Football teams this weekend, as they participate in Easter Region Pop Warner playoff games in Silver Spring and Baltimore, MD.  This year marked the first season of play for DPR in the DC Pop Warner Football league, which is operated in partnership by the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington (BGCGW).

On Saturday, November 15, four Division 1 DC Pop Warner Football championship teams will play in the first round of Eastern Region Pop Warner playoffs at Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring, MD.  The schedule of games is:

Beacon House Falcons (Junior Pee Wees Champions) vs. Charm City Buccaneers
Saturday, November 15, 9 am

Beacon House Falcons (Pee Wees Champions) vs. 1st and Ten Cowboys
Saturday, November 15, 11 am

Beacon House Falcons (Junior Midgets Champions) vs. Charm City Buccaneers
Saturday, November 15, 1 pm

Watkins Hornets (Midgets Champions) vs. South Side Chargers
Saturday, November 15, 3 pm

On Sunday, November 15, one Division 2 DC Pop Warner Football championship team will play in the second round of Division 2 Easter Region Pop Warner playoffs.  The game schedule is:

FBR Tarheels (Pee Wee Champions) vs. College Park Panthers
Cardinal Gibbons High School, Baltimore, MD
Sunday, November 16, 11 AM
