Summer is well underway at your DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR).  DPR's recreation centers, parks, pools, and spray parks are open and ready to be enjoyed by District residents.  During July, DPR continues to offer a full range of summer activities at parks, swimming pools, and recreation centers across the District of Columbia.

Additional information about DPR's and other District summer programs, including camps, summer employment opportunities, free summer meals, immunizations, reading programs, aquatics programs, and more can be found in the DC Summer Fun Guide, available online at dcsummerfun.dc.gov.  A new interactive feature of the DC Summer Fun website is the “Locate a Program” section, where you can quickly search for programs by location.

July will find Independence Day celebrations at DPR centers across the District, and of course, all of our outdoor swimming pools will be open throughout the Independence Day holiday weekend.  Please take a moment to review the list of highlighted events below, and remember this is only a glimpse of the many activities and programs you can find at DPR throughout July.  There's much more to be found by visting any DC Department of Parks and Recreation center, our website at DPR.DC.GOV, or calling (202) 673-7647.
