The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announced today that the Marie H. Reed Aquatic Facility, located at 2200 Champlain Street, NW, will temporarily close for cleaning and renovations beginning Monday, September 21, 2009.  The facility is expected to reopen to the public on Monday, October 12, 2009.

During the three week closure, DPR will replace dilapidated furnishings, paint the locker rooms and pool interior, as well as deep clean all parts of the pool facility.
