The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) in partnership with the Mayor's Office on Latino Affairs (OLA) and the District's Latino community is excited to present the first DC Hispanic Heritage Sports and Health Festival as part of Binational Health Week on Sunday, October 11, 2009 from 10 am to 5 pm at DPR Headquarters, 3149 16th Street, NW.

The DC Hispanic Heritage Sports and Health Festival is free and open to all ages.  Over 30 community organizations, businesses, and government agencies will be present offering information and services, including give-aways of new athletic apparel, free health screenings, food, entertainment and music, and sports clinics.
