Egg Hunt Highlights Week of Fun

DC Parks and Recreation welcomes youth during spring vacation.

(Washington, DC) Between April 1-5, area youth will take part in a host of post-Easter festivities, sponsored by DC Parks and Recreation.

The event will take place daily from 11 AM to 2 PM. On Monday and Wednesday, the Twin Oaks Youth Gardens will house the event. The Lederer Youth Gardens will host the event Tuesday and Thursday.

Activities include Easter Egg Hunts, Easter Egg Rolls, holiday crafts and garden crafts, face painting, egg decoration, and more surprises.

"As a city agency, it is our duty to give young people a safe environment to spend their spring vacation," Neil O. Albert, DC Parks and Recreation director, said. "We hope that parents take this time to introduce their children to the unique services offered by the District."

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact 202.673.7647.
