WHAT: DC Parks and Recreation enlists Wizards and Mystics in Basketball Court Resurfacing Project.

WHO: DC Parks and Recreation Director Neil Albert, Ward 8 Councilmember Sandy Allen, Mystics players Asjha Jones, Vicky Bullett, Murriel Page, Helen Luz, and Maren Walseth.


DC Parks and Recreation is joined by the Washington Mystics players Asjha Jones, Vicky Bullett, Murriel Page, Helen Luz and Maren Walseth in order to participate in a basketball court resurfacing project on July 11, beginning at 2:15 pm at the Bald Eagle Recreation Center in Southwest DC.  

The event will include a dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by a basketball skills clinic, hosted by the players, for the neighborhood kids.
