(Washington, DC) District parents and caregivers will learn valuable information during a parent conference scheduled for later this month.
The conference, A Day in the Life of Our Children: You are not Alone will take place from 8:15 am to 3 pm, Saturday, September 28 at C. Melvin Sharpe Health School. The school is located at 4300 13th Street, NW.
The conference will enable parents and professionals to explore issues and challenges facing families in caring for their children. Through a series of scheduled sessions and interactive exhibits, attendees will learn how to care for the child of the 21st century. Session titles include:

Disorganization vs. Organization
Child Development: Discipline, Punishment and Logical Consequences

Participants will receive a certificate of completion for attending the conference.
