The DC Department of Parks and Recreation will continue to provide supervised activities for young people at neighborhood recreation centers during the holiday, while schools are in recess. The recreation centers, which usually open after school at 3:30 pm, will operate from 11:30 am to 8 pm, starting Monday, April 16 through Friday, April 20. District public schools reopen April 23.

Guy Mason Community Center and Chevy Chase Community Center will operate at their usual time, 8:30 am to 10 pm.
