(Washington, DC) Join DC Parks and Recreation this year in celebrating a safe and fun-filled Halloween.
More than 35 recreation centers and after-school programs will be sponsoring a variety of exciting Halloween activities, ranging from a haunted house at Lamond Recreation Center, to a cultural Fiesta Siesta at the Hamilton Recreation Center, to a Mummy Wrap at the Arboretum Recreation Center.
A host of parties around the District will also feature food, live music, games, musical chairs, contests and prizes.
DPR is committed to providing quality activities and events for the District’s youth. Working in partnership with surrounding communities, the department’s recreation centers annually plan Halloween events that serve as safe alternatives for local residents.
