(Washington, DC) Trying to plan for your child’s summer? DC Parks and Recreation is here to help. From April 5 to April 10, DPR will conduct daily summer camping fairs throughout the District. During that week, camping representatives will be on hand to offer information and support for those interested in camping registration. The week will end with a citywide celebration at Banneker and Kenilworth, promising fun for the entire family.

This year, the department has implemented an online registration service, accessible through its website, at www.dpr.dc.gov. By making registration available via the Internet, DC Parks and Recreation increases efficiency in processing, provides up-to-date program information, and allows residents to register within minutes from their home or office. Participants also receive an immediate e-mail confirmation letting them know they’re in the class or have the reservation.
