(Washington, DC) The DC Department of Parks and Recreation is holding a job fair to fill summer and career employment positions.

The event will take place April 15-16 at the Emery Recreation Center, located at 5801 Georgia Avenue NW. Thursday's fair is from 10 am to 7 pm, while Friday's fair takes place from 10 am to 6 pm.  

Recruiters will be on hand to conduct on-site interviews for available jobs throughout the agency. Employment benefits include paid training and an opportunity to gain experience in public service.

Open positions are in the following categories: General Day Camp Counselors for summer programs and services (Sports, Environmental, Residential, Performing Arts), Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors.
