DPR 2006 Spring/Summer Activity Guide Features Activities and Programs for All Ages

The Department of Parks and Recreation presents its Spring/Summer Activity Guide, your map to summer fun for all ages.

There are FREE activities and events for children, teens, adults, families and seniors, as well as specialized programs for people with disabilities. Please feel free to browse all that we have to offer. The book includes a directory of facilities, a guide to educational and child care programs, various teen activities, arts and crafts for all ages, etiquette classes, sports and fitness resources, a listing of senior services, camping opportunities, swimming, and much more!  You will notice some of our specialized programs and classes have a nominal fee, but most programs are FREE to DC residents, plus all of our fee-based programs have scholarships. To register for any program or apply for a scholarship, please visit or contact your local recreation center.  Join in the FUN!
