(Washington, DC)--Washington, DC, the silent star in many Hollywood productions such as Wedding Crashers, The Sentinel, Syriana, Mission: Impossible III, and National Treasure, is now being featured as a destination for a movie and TV tour.
On Location Tours, a sightseeing company that specializes in TV and movie tours in New York City, now brings this experience to Washington. This guided bus tour will take visitors around the nation’s capital to spots where feature films and TV programs have been shot, such as the steps in Georgetown where The Exorcist was filmed, the bar used in St. Elmo’s Fire, and the church used in the hit comedy Wedding Crashers.
Mayor Anthony A. Williams attended the launch of On Location Tours in the District on Thursday, October 19. Tickets will be available to the public beginning November 4, and tours will run on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 2 pm. The tours, which will leave from and return to Union Station, last approximately three hours and will cost $34 per ticket. For more information, please visit the tour website.
