China Delegation Visits the DC Board of Social Work - Releases - Health Professional Licensing Administration

(Washington, DC) The DC Board of Social Work recently hosted a meeting with 25 delegates from China, sponsored by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA). The delegates consisted of directors, deputy directors, vice presidents, researchers and media personnel from various ministries and personnel and testing agencies. The Chinese officials were in the District on a fact-finding mission to obtain information on social work processes and procedures for licensing and testing.

Kathleen Hoffman, Deputy Executive Director, Dwight Hyman, LCSW, Board Services Coordinator, and Pat Olinger, Candidate Registration Center Manager of the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) also participated in the meeting.

Robin Jenkins, Vice Chair, Carla Williams, Assistant Attorney General, and Bonnie Rampersaud, Executive Director of the DC Board of Social Work with Delegation members Yutao Ma, and Meng Li of China’s International Publishing Group.
