As of November 2008, JGA is pleased to announce that Joshua Weber has been hired as the new JGA director. Josh has over ten years of experience with improving programs and policies for disadvantaged communities, having worked as a researcher, evaluator, practitioner, and technical assistance provider on issues ranging from juvenile and criminal justice to adult basic education and workforce development. Most recently, Josh worked for the New York City Administration for Children’s Services where he developed and managed the $10 million Juvenile Justice Initiative, the largest alternative to placement and after-care program for juvenile delinquents in the history of NYC.
