The District of Columbia Judicial Nomination Commission is pleased to announce its website, http://jnc.dc.gov, which provides the public with a wide range of information, including background information on the Commission, notice of judicial vacancies, and answers to frequently asked questions.
In addition the website contains application materials that can be downloaded for submission to the Commission. This important communication tool will assist the Commission in serving the residents of the District of Columbia by continuing to select the highest-caliber candidates for judicial office from among this District's diverse and talented legal community. The Commission encourages bar associations, legal organizations, and other interested individuals and organizations to include a link to the Commission's website on their own websites.
In order to provide the public with timely and useful information on the judicial nomination process, the Commission will update and expand the website to the greatest extent possible.
