Town Hall, Interfaith Service and First-Ever Trans Pride Day Highlight Capital Pride Week

Capital Pride week runs from June 1–10, 2007.  There are several events that the Office of LGBT Affairs will be attending and/or participating in.  Here is a brief list:

  • Sunday June 3: First-ever Trans Pride Day takes place at Westminster Presbyterian Church at 400 I Street, SW.  
  • Monday June 4: Capital Pride Town Hall will take place at 6:30 pm at the Studio Theater 1501 14th Street, NW.  
  • Tuesday June 5: Interfaith Service will take place at the Lincoln Congregational Temple UCC 1701 11th Street, NW.
  • Saturday June 9: the Capital Pride Parade kicks off at 6:30 pm at the intersection of 23rd and P Street and runs through the Dupont Circle Neighborhood. 
  • Sunday June 10,  Capital Pride Street Fair and Festival from 11 a.m – 6:00 pm on Pennsylvania Avenue NW from 3rd to 7th Street.
