The Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Affairs (LGBT), in conjunction with Transgender Health Empowerment, Transgendered Education Association and other community based organizations will be hosting a Job Fair on September 29, 2007.
The purpose of these event will be to bring together representatives of government agencies, corporations and private businesses with interests in the District together with members of the District’s transgendered community for the expressed purpose of finding jobs for them.
The Job Fair will take place on Saturday September 29, 2007, from 1 pm to 5 pm at the ARC located at 1901 Mississippi Avenue, SE. The job fair will feature representatives from government, the nonprofit community and corporate employers.
