The Office of GLBT Affairs is pleased to report that two local community organizations are offering scholarships for GLTB Youth.

Team DC Student-Athlete Scholarship
The Team DC Student-Athlete Scholarship will provide $1500 of financial support to a self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) student-athlete who has made a contribution to the sport(s) he or she is a part of and, as a result of his or her contributions and involvement, has enhanced the perception of the LGBT community.

Youth Pride Scholarships
The Youth Pride Alliance is accepting applications for the Wanda Alston and Cheryl Spector scholarships.  They are intended for young people who best exemplify leadership within the community.  Awards will be from $500-$1000
