The Mayor's Office of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Affairs (GLBT) is sponsoring a workshop on effective board leadership as part of its annual Leadership Institute series. This workshop will focus on best practices for nonprofit and community organization board structure, governance and accountability. The Leadership Institute series provides training to strengthen GLBT organizations in Washington, DC. All community leaders, nonprofit professionals and interested parties are encouraged to attend.
