Attend the GLBT Adoption Information Event on May 28

Thinking about starting a family? Do you have room in your heart and in your home for a child? There are children and youth in foster care in the DC area, some in need a temporary foster family, and others awaiting a permanent adoptive family. You just might be the parent, or parents, they are waiting for. Please join the Human Rights Campaign and Rainbow Families for an evening of conversation, information sharing, and great stories that will help you learn about all of the opportunities for members of the GLBT community to foster or adopt.

Hear from a diverse, dynamic panel of GLBT foster and adoptive parents, the professionals who serve them, and find out what it means to enter this new chapter in life. Learn about local resources that can support you, the children and youth who are waiting for families, and how to get started on this journey.
