Office of LGBT Affairs Sponsors Out for Work Student Career Conference

(Washington DC) Director of the Office of LGBT Affairs, Darlene Nipper, will co-facilitate a break-out session on "Being a Racial/Ethnic Minority within the LGBT Community" during the Out for Work Undergraduate Student Career Conference on Saturday, October 21, from 5 to 5:45 pm.

What Out for Work: The National Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Ally Undergraduate Student Career Conference
When
October 21-22, 2006, 10 am to 7 pm
Where Human Rights Campaign headquarters, 1640 Rhode Island Avenue, NW

Day two of the conference will feature the PRIDE Career Fair. If you are an undergraduate student seeking an internship or job, the PRIDE Career Fair will host organizations from all employment sectors. The event is free and open to the public. Register at Out for Work.              
 
If you are an employer seeking job applicants, exhibitors are welcome and can register for a table online at Out for Work.  More than 500 attendees are expected. The for-profit registration fee is $100 and the nonprofit registration fee is $75 for a six-foot table.
