This is to advise the public that the Epilepsy Foundation 5K Walk will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2007.  To facilitate this event, vehicular traffic restrictions must be imposed on numerous streets downtown between the hours of 7:30 am and 11:30 am on the day of the walk.  To avoid delays, motorists should avoid the route of the walk and streets that intersect.

The route of the walk is as follows:

The participants will assemble between 10th Street and Constitution Avenue, NW for the start of the walk.  They will proceed west on Constitution Avenue to 18th Street; north on 18th Street, NW to E Street, NW; west on E Street to 20th Street, NW; south on 20th Street to Virginia Avenue, NW; southeast on Virginia Avenue to 19th Street, NW; south on 19th Street to Constitution Avenue, NW; east on Constitution Avenue to 15th Street, NW; south on 15th Street to Jefferson Drive, NW, and then east on Jefferson Drive to the finish line at 4th Street, NW.
