This is to advise the news media that Chief of Police Cathy L. Lanier of the Metropolitan Police Department will host a news conference, joined by Dan Tangherlini the City Administrator, Jeff Taylor the United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, Joseph Persichini, Assistant Director in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Washington Field Office, Edgar A. Domenech the Special Agent in Charge of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Washington Field Office and Melvin High the Chief of Police for the Prince George's County Police Department, to discuss arrests involving a drug ring and announce Team DC a crime fighting initiative involving federal and local law enforcement agencies.  
 
Also expected to attend the conference is Glenn Ivey thePrince George's County States Attorney, Mark McGraw the Deputy Special Agent in Charge for Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Paul Quander the Director of the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency for theDistrict of Columbia.
