McGruff the Crime Dog® to Make Surprise Visit to MPD Day Camp

Shhh, it's a surprise!! McGruff the Crime Dog® is turning 27 years old on July 1, and to celebrate 27 years as the nation's crime prevention icon, McGruff will make an “unexpected” visit to the Metropolitan Police Department's Day Camp at Cook Elementary School on Friday, June 29. McGruff will share cupcakes with the children to celebrate his birthday, take pictures with the kids and encourage campers to sign an Internet Safety Pledge in recognition of Internet Safety Month, which runs through June.
