This is to advise the news media that Chief of Police Cathy L. Lanier and others will take part in the hanging and display of photographs as part of the continuing “Project Pride.” “Project Pride” is a program implemented by Chief Lanier to help instill a greater sense of pride and professionalism on the part of department members by providing them with an insight into the department’s long proud tradition of service and dedication to the community. Chief Lanier will taken part in the hanging and display of historical and contemporary photographs at the First District sub-station. Photographs will eventually be hung in all police facilities.
