This is to advise the public that the 20th Annual Candlelight Vigil for Fallen Law Enforcement Officers will be held at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial (NLEOM) at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 13, 2008.  However, to facilitate this event, vehicular traffic restrictions must be imposed in the vicinity of the NLEOM on E Street, F Street, and G Street NW from 9:00 am on the day of the event until after the vigil.  To avoid delays, motorists should take alternate routes.

The following restrictions will be imposed:

No parking will be allowed around the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial on 4th Street, 5th Street, E Street, F Street, and G Street, NW.  Emergency No Parking signs have been placed on these streets to alert the public. 

For the candlelight vigil, no vehicular traffic will be allowed on

•           E Street between 4th and 5th Street, NW

•           F Street between 4th and 5th Street, NW
