Traffic Advisory: Street Closures and Parking Restrictions for IMF/World Bank Meetings

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has provided the following information about street closures and parking restrictions that will be implemented for the Spring Meetings of the IMF/World Bank Board of Governors.

Street Closures

Beginning Thursday, April 19, 2012, at approximately 5 pm, through Sunday, April 22, at approximately 7 pm, the following streets surrounding the IMF/World Bank will be closed:

·         19th Street, NW from G Street to Pennsylvania Avenue                    

The following streets will remain open with temporary closures possible beginning Thursday, April 19 at approximately 5 pm, through Sunday, April 22 at approximately 7 pm.

·         18th Street, NW  from G Street to Pennsylvania Avenue

·         20th Street, NW from G Street to Pennsylvania Avenue

·         G Street, NW  from 18th Street to 20th Street

·         H Street (southern side) from 18th Street to 20th Street

Emergency No Parking Restrictions

The following Emergency No Parking restrictions will be in effect from 5 pm on Thursday, April 19 through Sunday, April 22 at approximately 7 pm:

 

  • 18th Street, NW from G Street to Pennsylvania Avenue
  •  19th Street, NW from G Street to Pennsylvania Avenue
  •  20th Street, NW from G Street to Pennsylvania Avenue
  •  G Street, NW from 18th Street to 20th Street
  •  H Street (southern side), NW from 18th Street to 20th Street
  •  Pennsylvania Avenue, NW from 18th Street to 20th Street
